I am searching for the idiom/expression “not up to standard”.

“Not up to standard” is a correct expression, as is “not up to our standards.” Both have slightly negative connotations, however. I would suggest “your experience and qualifications do not meet our criteria.”

“Not coming up to standards” is probably better expressed by “not meeting our standards.”

The idiom connected with standard is:

come up to someone’s standards:

to meet or be equal to someone’s standards or requirements.

“Does this ice cream come up to your standards? Ann’s concert recital did not come up to her own standards.”
