I received an email from the head of linguistics at the University I’m planning to enrol in. This is part of what she said:

What would be helpful is a list of the courses or main subjects you’d like to enrol in, with some brief rationale (what you hope to gain from doing it, so me and others can make sensible suggestions

You’d expect better really. :(

Then again, maybe I’m just being pedantic..

It’s like primary school all over again! That makes me feel happy though as I’m one of those who is scared of change, scared of ageing in particular! Maybe I should go to Neverland…

Take what you’ve leared in your previous environment—hard work, orgianization, technology, etc.—and apply them to your new one. You’ll be surprised at how well you adapt.
