Don’t hardly ever iron any more: nothing needs it.  Wash and wear, no shirts and ties. Haven’t had a tie on since I retired.

Weddings and funerals.

Stay away from those, don’t even show up at the receptions.  Just send wishes.  Too old to know anyone there, and have no family left, so don’t know anyone from that set either.

Don’t like them, either, but it’s hard to send wishes when you’re a pall bearer.

Never been a pall bearer, never hope to be.  These days I just avoid all civic and religious responsibility.
Stay away from religion and concentrate on spirituality: big difference, you know.

We’re “badinaged” about that issue already.

We have, how soon I forget. Memory is the first to go.
Time for a new word???
With all the advertisements on the site again this am, I think I have posted enough for today.

I have to go hospitaling in a while. I’ll have a little badinage with the people wearing stethoscopes.

For my momma. She will probably be there until Tuesday at least. I’m finding that most doctors can’t find the hospital on weekends.

Just weekends???? It is a source of gratis work.  Give me the money, see you later.

Or take two aspirins and I’ll see you next week.

And don’t ever try to reach them on a Thursday, golf day.

Or take two badinage and I’ll see you Friday.

ANd wait four hours in the waiting room.
