Put a little carpe in your diem. I think that means “eat fish every day.”

Yuk, we have carp here, from the mighty Mo. Couple of restaurants feature it.  Disgusting.

As a boy, back hiding from dinosaurs, the first fish I ever caught was a 25 inch carp, and that is no fish story. It is also the only fish I ever caught.

Carp are ycept garbage eaters here. Carfish are, too, but they’re pretty good.

They will eat about anything. Tin cans are not in their diet, regardless of what people think, but they will eat the paper off them.

The only thing I like about goats is the leather that comes from them. The rest—the milk, the attitude, and the smell—you can have.

My grandfather raised goats and sold the milk. They stink, and so does the milk.

Never had it, never hope to.  Still think they are cute in petting zoos.  Saw them all over the place in Israel, raised by Bedouin.

Life has its blessings, I guess, if you say so.

One thing I forgot to say about goats; they’re onery. On second thought, maybe you would discover a kinship of spirit.

But its so pretty, and would make better ropes than baskets.
All you do with baskets is gather up the cut branches from your holly cuttings.
