welllllll lets see now - I think of taking care of something in a professional capacity. i.e. if I say “I have to take care of business today” I could be refering to some banking for my graphic design business or I could be referring to a meeting set up with a client. there is personal business too. I might use the phrase for going to the doctor or the post office, etc.
