The previous title on this thread was Philippine Indepence Day prompts me to wish all in the USA a Happy Constitution Day.  In 1788 on this day, the last
state necessary ratified the Constitution, making it the law of the Land.  It is the oldest written constitution in the world still in use.  On this day when so
many are denied their civil rights, we should indeed be grateful.

I believe so, this is the anniversary day of its ratification in 1788.

Beats me!  I did not know the US has a citizenship day.  Today is not a holiday, that I know of, just the anniversary of the ratification.  But don’t hold me to that, it might be a holiday of some sort in some
of th the 50 states.

Didn’t know it either. I just checked out the Wiki.
Prior to Phil. Independence day, I thought it is also a holiday.

Am I mistaken? what I know is that the constitution day is in the month of September. Did they change it?

Luck? I don’t know anything about luck. I’ve never banked on it, and I’m afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work—and realizing what is opportunity and what isn’t.

I was talking about the American Constitution. I read that it’s on Sep 17 if I remebered it right.

You probably did.  I was just referring to the fact that the day was the day the Constitution was ratified.  It took 9 of 13 states to make it the law of the land, and on that day back in1877 the 9th
state did so.

That made everything clear! I just read the previous post not the whole.

Yeah! Good night! Be careful not to ‘wake up on the wrong side of the bed’.
