yeah! I think so, but the thing that I’m very curious is why do they need to make it shorter right? why not say Japanese animation why do they need to say anime? right? what do you think so?
Well you know since the sound of the word anime if you will say it, sound like a French word right, so I think that it was probably derived from a certain French word, but I’m not yet sure with it, and also maybe Japanese made it shorter because if you will think of it animation is quite longer than anime right? So I think they made it easier for themselves…
Well I will still try to look at the certain French word that might be connected to the word anime ...
I think I already remembered Cagalli the “dessin animé”.
Actually Anime and Animation has the same meaning, but they just made shorter well probably they wanted it to pronounce easier, because they are Japanese… heheheh [no offense]
Anyway I admired the way they changed the word animation, they make it easier to say! It ain’t gonna cool if it’s too long.. heheh~
Anime is a perfect word for the way you guys post: manga subtitles without the movie. Lots of colour, vivid graphics and action, no need for a plot, no-one else can understand the dialogue and all good fun!

Well I think so, but maybe we can just use it in our own words, well who knows probably in the latest dictionaries there can be the word anime considered as an adjective!
Here are some info about that word from Webster Dictionary:

Date: 1988
: a style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes
and from Wikipedia.org
The history of anime begins at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in the West. During the 1970s, anime developed further, separating itself from its Western roots, and developing unique genres such as the mecha genre and its Super Robot subgenre. Notable shows in this period include Lupin III and Mazinger Z. During this period several filmmakers became famous, especially Hayao Miyazaki and Mamoru Oshii.
