When mosquito-hunters are so few and far between, how come legions of mothers get all the glory ?

Historcally, when someone says, “I am Legion,” people take notice. “I am Mosqito Hunter” doesn’t quite have the same effect. `

It’s Mother’s Day. Here is a small tribute.

Southern Mother’s: a holiday honoring mothers, aunts, and female cousins—which are often the same person.

Mother’s Day: one of two holiday honoring parents, the other being Baby’s Daddy Day.

Someone turned on the parakeet in Saparris’ head.  I take it you are not a fan of Mother’s Day, or just venting???

I am indeed a fan of mothers, but there are too many of them to dote on these days: mine, the mother of my offspring, and my daughter. Choose you this day upon whom you will focus your attention. As for me and my house, I need three eyes.

I am slso not a big fan of holidays except for Thanksgiving, which is a wonderful occasion: food, family, and friends, but no gifts.
