Hello, Annabel!!!
We’re glad you stopped by for a visit. Sorry about all the sadness and stress.
I was finishing up a book last night and came across the term, “self-affine,” which has to do with fractal geometry in particular, although the book is about man’s search for order in a seemingly random world. The author made a distinction between self-similar and self-affine shapes. The former is exact except in size. The latter describes shapes that look alike but are not exact.
Naturally—or perhaps unnaturally—I thought of branches, trees, and your illusive word.
So, you see, we care about youse guys, too.
Come back when you can.
