I’m wondering if there is room to make up my own words using the format of denizen and citizen. Can I refer to my housemates as domizens? (from Latin domus, house - for lack of a Middle English/Anglo-French root). Might beach bums prefer to be called actizens? (from Latin acta, seashore).

Zenithzen - does whatever he likes without ever having to apogee.

Magazen - page 3 girl with centrefold ambitions.

Liazen - unanticipated outcome of an extramarital affair.

Denizens - lions.

Dozens - the Simpsons.

Cozens - the progeny of Backwoods American Brothers.

Zen - mind dweller.

Carcinozens - the smokers in our midst.
