I recently tried to find the official definition for blog but couldn’t.  It makes me wonder how else it could be listed & what other jargon of the Internet or other modern industries is missing from the dictionary.  Does anyone know where I can find what I need?

Yes, so I see.  I don’t think that is what Jay is looking for.  Wait until some of the “big wigs” of this site get involved.  Then it will really take off, http sites and all.

Blog - a contraction of “Bandar Log”, the tribe of foolish chattering monkeys in Kipling’s “Jungle Book” who communicate almost entirely by the repetition of other creatures’ speech.

We are great. We are free. We are wonderful. We are the most wonderful people in all the jungle! We all say so, and so it must be true..

Makes you wonder if Bandito may be King Louie….

I’d read the telephone book before watching “Late Night” with David Letterman; and to think NBC is putting
Jay Leno in prime time.  I’d watch the snow between stations before watching him.

While TV has its purposes, and there are some decent shows, what happened to people making their own entertainment,
  and learning something.?

That may be a play on words or names, but it could not be said better, in my book.  Their sick jokes, putdowns, and the like, interviewing attention-starved
individual who would likely be on “reality” TV if given the choice, though no reality is contained in any of them: read the credits: “Script by”, etc.

I’d read the telephone book

Not to be recommended. True it has a cast of thousands, but a lousy plot.

If not chronological, that’s true, but at least it is alphabetical.  Late night TV follows no score.
