I’m confused by exhibition industry words.

Hi,everyone,how’re you doing there? I’ve been learning English for many years,and working in a trade show booth contractor company in Shanghai China.since we offer the service for international exhibitors,we offer use trade fair English. I’m really confused by following words:
trade show- trade fair
drawing amendment-drawing modification
stand-booth
cabinet-cupboard
raised floor-expo platform
quotation-offer
stand construction-booth installation
dismantle-disassembly-teardown
building-setup
technical drawing-perspective drawing

etc….....

I am really confused about the terms “state trooper” and “state police”, especially when they are on my tail, red lights a=flashing.

By the way, welcome to the forum.  I cannot help with your confusion about the words. But I am sure you will be getting some answers soon, stay tuned.  English is confusing.  Trade fair and trade show, I would presume, are the same thing, as are quotatiion and offer.  A quotation may just be someone who is informally giving a quote, and an offer is someone who is really interested (at least, it hits me that way.)
