That is a preposition, not a complete sentence - it requires a subject, e.g.

In your capacity as a teacher, you can become a Justice of the Peace.

Legitimate only in certain defining context such as the professional ethics hearing:

Spokesperson: “How did you correct the student?”

Schoolmaster: “Let the record indicate I did exactly as became any responsible parent!”

Spokesperson: “In your capacity as teacher?”

I think, it is a fragment or a phrase. It is incomplete so you have to add more to make it a sentence or a statement… LOL

Nice of you to try to resurrect an old thread.  Hope someone bites besides me.
AGORA is the sites term for all the chatter and discussion that goes on here.
It comes from the ancient Greeks.  The AGORA was their “market place”, gathering place,
and general place of assembly where all the famous thinkers of Old, e.g. Plato, Aristotle, etc.,
came to discuss their thoughts and ideas.  That is what we do here, hence Agora.  In Rome
it was called the Forum

In the rural South, it was called the general store or the fillin’ station. Plato and Aristotle would have eaten sardines and potted meat on “soda crackers” while discussing ethics and philosophy.

Are you trying to arouse the silverback?  He has been very quiescent lately.

Just rousing him would probably be sufficient.

Actually, I thought that Bandito’s response was a good piece of subtle criticism veiled in humor. I thought the reference to a professional ethics hearing was a hoot.
