Hey! Could anyone point out the difference between
“Thanks for being considerate” and,

“Thanks for having been considerate”

My feeling is, “being” refers to the nature of the person as a whole, while “having been” refers to the particular action of consideration

I think you can say “Thanks for being considerate” at the moment someone does something , and “Thanks for having been considerate” after someone does something for a long time. I’m not quite sure.
