i came across the word PEREGRINATION (i think that’s correctly spelled) red face and couldn’t find the definition. Perhaps some could tell me if this word is misspelled and/ or real?

Peregrination as it applies to Bandito is the nearest thing you’ll ever get to a straight answer.

It could also be a term to describe the tortuous process by which he acquired his peculiar facial expression - Pere from the way those beady little eyes peer out, grination the curious contortion of his simian smile.

Oops, my avatar isn’t much better !!!
