I work in an office and a quick way of saying ‘I’m up to date and have completed all the files and finished updating the report’ can’t I just say ‘I done the ’updation‘ on file X’ or can you give me a proper usage word that I could use. I’ve read a lot of your Forums so I know you lot are far cleverer than me (I) Thanking you in advance Mandie

“I’ve updated file X” would satisfy the boss without trepidation.

I have revise the file would be an better alternative to word updation.
