OK - perhaps all that was contained in the word of the day is correct. Who knows? I for one have heard other stories on the origins of OK. One being a misuse of
letters by shipping agents inventorying supplies on the harbor of Boston, I believe, and scrawling OH for ‘all here’ or something like it, and the H turned into a K.
I imagine that there are others out there, right Bandito?
