I learned this interesting word yesterday. It,s used primarily in Hawaii. It refers to the phenomenon created when the material from a volcanic eruption interacts with the atmosphere and sunlight.

Though almost every standard dictionary will more than likely represent “grog” as heated rum with various spices it may also denote lukewarm to calid, honey mead & spice--one pricey but highly recommendable toddy for those enervating, nocturnal spirits!

When Krakatoa exploded, the airborne ash spread around the world, hence “vogue”.

I don’t know about “vogue”, but I’ve had the honey-mead grog Bandito speaks of.  Delicious.
