I had a friend that spoke Dutch and i learned a few phrases. But all I remember is “how are you?”
But, as you can see, I have difficulty with grammar for even that phrase.
Richard, our old mate Bandito has been waxing lyrical about the crabs and beer in Costa Rica and is already feeling misty-eyed and nostalgic for the Bush-43 years, so I’ve just left a voice message on your answering service (add+1 to the number above) suggesting that you check us out again. We have some enthusiastic young home-schooled contributors in the agora lately, you would enjoy the ambience. Regards, douglang.
There are lots of call center companies in the Philippines. We are not native English speakers but those people are good especially handling some bad-mouth costumers. Man power is good cause they give good compensation, too! The shift is, though, tough. ggrr..!!
I agree 100%. In my opinion, there are many good call center agents everywhere. From the executives that I know in the Philippines, they share the same concerns as I do. We are always looking to raise the bar and work together to make the industry stronger.
In addition, their level of English is quite impressive. The downside, many do not speak Spanish which seems to be an important asset these days in the United States market.
Really good to hear from you. Doug had said that the conversation with you was great. I PMd him to tell him you were back, but he is extremely busy now: he may log on the site, however, stay tuned.
They give good offers, too! Like free use of gym, swimming pool, good ambiance, free coffee, soft couch. Maybe, it’s the reason they could keep agents. In addition to that, I like it when they don’t have any dress code. They talk over the phone and the costumers don’t even know if they wearing anything or not. ehehe! We’ll, I prefer working on flip-flops.
I like to tell my agents that the clients cannot see how “good looking"they are so they must enhance their phonetics.
Sounds more like a country club there than a call center. We just have good foosball competitions in the kitchen. I was thinking about a pinball or pacman machine.
