"What is it that is most beautiful? - The Universe; for it is the work of God.
What is most powerful? - Necessity; because it triumphs over all things.
What is most difficult? - To know one’s self.
What is most easy? - To give advice.
What method must we take to lead a good life? - To do nothing we would condemn in others.
What is necessary to happiness? - A sound body and a contented mind."

- Thales of Miletus (580 BC)

Certainly a quote to live by, Sitran. If I ever got a tattoo (which I won’t, but still) this would be it, even though it may be a trifle long. Perhaps it would fit on a t-shirt? smile

I was really looking for a quote that I think was from Thales.

Something about "having waited around for 70 for something new to happen, and it never did!"

Still can’t find it, but I liked what I did find!

That reminds me of the line from one of The Limelighters’ (1960’s folk music group) albums[sup]1[/sup]:

I want you all to remember our motto here at camp:

Clean body; clean mind; take your pick.

[sup]1[/sup]Album:  A type of a not-so-compact disk that predated computers and MP3 players and which stored sound in an analog fashion rather than a digital fashion.

Perhaps good advice, but very short lives!

Never went to camp, never wanted to.  I guess I was the smart one!

I just never was silly like that!

Bye-bye, everyone!
