Good day, Members!

I’m wondering if anyone can answer me, please.  Presently I working with phonetics and have tried in vain to find an upside down "e" and primary and secondary stresses, marks.

The primary stress would be placed high above the first part of the word to be stressed, and the secondary mark would be placed low on the word.  For example, in the word anectode, the primary stress mark would be placed high before the "an" and the lower before the "dote."

Does anyone know if there any Alt keys that would type what I need—the upside down "e" and the stresses?

Thanks

I’m no expert on computing, but I think the repetoire is limited to what you get on the character map (for Windows: Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Character Map). I understand that there’s a lot going on with Unicode, but I don’t think we can use it here.

Thanks, Garzo, for your speedy reply!

I’ve a sneaking suspicion, though, that some Alt key in Electronic Land is out there, somewhere, to come to the aid of an electronically challenged sexagenarian. I mean, what can’t be done with computers these days, right?

Merci encore, monsieur!
