Hi, I’m not really "new" here, I just forgot my password and it won’t send it to my email address.  But that’s OK, I didn’t like the name "TomK" much anyway.

Now then, I’ve created something I call the "Global English Survey Project."  It’s a survey that keeps track of how non-native-speakers speak English.  It has questions mostly about pronunciation, that lets us see who learns the British way and who learns the American way, and also how native languages affect English pronunciation.

You can find the survey at http://www.global-english.co.nr so if English is not your native language, please take the survey!  And we can all talk about it here.  I’m sure after the survey gets a few thousand responses, the British vs. American issue will be a huge discussion topic at plenty of discussion boards.
