No? Good, because this is a complaint.

I’ve noticed this happen a number of times in Word of the Day examples, including today’s word, Goer.
I’m talking of the misspelling of the word "Aussie" as "Ozzie". This word is a shortened form of "Australian" and being one myself can safely say that the "Aussie" is the correct way of spelling the word, and is the way that Aussies spell it. The only "Ozzie" I know of is a bat-eating pom! (or is that Ozzy with a "y")?
Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oy oy oy!

You’re right! However, do not forget Oz and oz, which are included in the Macquarie Dictionary.

Oz // Colloquial
—adjective 1. Australian.
—noun 2. Australia. Also, oz.

In editorial discussions I have also suggested "Aussie" as preferable but have been voted down.  Both are listed in the OED and neither seems to be listed as the preferred version.  So, "Ozzie" it seems to be….

Your youth is showing.  And he swears he didn’t know it was a real bat until he bit the head off.  Someone tossed it to him from the audience.

Ozzie was Harriet Nelson’s husband, father of David Nelson and the late singer Rickie Nelson, and star of the old show "Ozzie and Harriet."

The online American Heritage Dictionary has Oz listed as short for Australia.  See my post under Goer.

Absolutely, I daresay, my sympathetic heart must also reach out to any queer bastard who had to watch as that stupid geek bit the filthy head off some positively wretched bat and, besides, I still much rather prefer somewhat neoclassical “Antipodes” for yon continental Oceanic landmass down under even today!  But otherwise attested “Oz” could well be a subtle allusion to that fabulous brainchild of very American children’s novelist L. Frank Baum 1856-1919 who magnanimously gave us so many, altogether imaginary stories about Toto-tottling Dorothy and the verdantly fantastic Emerald City.  Thus one humble pulp-monger of worthless, nickel’n'dime fiction probably derived toponymic inspiration for said mythical realm from the nethermost O-Z drawer of his own, relatively meager file case.

Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi”, also spelt “Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie, Oy Oy Oy”, is a cheer or chant often performed at Australian sport events. It is a variation of the Oggy Oggy Oggy chant used by both Soccer and rugby fans in Britain from the 1970s onwards. It is usually performed by a crowd, uniting together to cheer for their national sports team or athlete. The alternate is for an individual to chant the line “Aussie, Aussie Aussie!” and the crowd to respond with “Oi! Oi! Oi!”.

“Tintinabulation” This word is surely much easier.

Luck? I don’t know anything about luck. I’ve never banked on it, and I’m afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work—and realizing what is opportunity and what isn’t.
