Maybe this is not new, but I have not seen any reference to this anywhere. I have been a rather infrequent visitor recently and had not posted anything for quite some time. Now each time I post, I get an error message including what appears to be the important text "Object expected" and referring to line 207.

I am using IE6 SP1 with all the latest security patches.

If this is not a common problem, could anyone suggest how this could be avoided? Using a different browser is not an option.

Well, Derek, you should post more often!  The object it’s expecting is more posts from you!   ;D

Actually, on some systems I get a script error when I preview or post, which I just ignore, and everything turns out hunky-dory.  I’m also using IE6 SP1 plus five other security updates, running on XP Pro.

It happens to me too. Generally when I include a quote. As with most dire warnings, I simply ignore them. Nothing awful happens, as Stargzer states.

So, more posts from Derek in the future and damn the warnings.  :)
