I’ve been digging about this recently and I found the way to do it with this software: the only method of encoding currently available in YaBB is to change the $charset variable to the ISO code of your choice. This will print in the HTML and in the document header.

See if it works for you now (the encoding, that is…).

Hmm… Looks like some progress, but not all the way there yet!

With UTF-8 you can even write Sanskrit and Arabic. But until then we’ll have to wait.

Yes, they’re running the ever-popular vBulletin. It’s good software, but it costs money (which we ever struggle to obtain). There are actually some really excellent forum scripts out there—many of them freeware. Believe me, it is one of my most fond desires to update this rickety old script. As soon as finances and priorities permit, it will happen.

Oops, I totally forgot about the financing problems. I also thought these vBulletin scripts are freeware…
Look at this: http://www.companyreviews.net/paidforums.php . They say it costs $160 for unlimited time.
Anyway, here from Serbia&Montenegro I cannot help you nonehow. Sorry…
