Interesting thing, activity on the site.  Most of the topics average about 8 viewings per posting, and we all know who we are.  But there are several posts on etymology of words today, and they get three times as many views per posting.

That demonstrates that there are a lot of people following the Agora who are interested in words more than conversations.  What has attracted the most views I wonder?  “Names of Dacian Kings” has had only 24 postings and more than 17,000 viewings - is it a homework topic ?

Vikki/DianeVM, what was the most interesting word ever posted, as a proportion of viewings to postings ?

I actually am fascinated by the topic.  I wish there were more postings of this historical endeavor.  That is an avocation of mine, and I love it.  Less of the gibberish, and yes I know most of it is mine.
But when someone posts something and sees what knowledge is out there, I’d be so much more interested than posting conversation over trivia nothings.

I wish Vikki or Diane would answer your question, doug, as I’d be fascinated by it as well; however, I don’t think they see too much here.  Advertisements all the time, and the broken status of the
site maybe leaves them unaware.
