Hey, I still can’t do my italics without EVERYTHING BECOMING ITALICISED.
A pseudonym, I suppose. I often refer to him as Dr. Bob. A real nice guy in email; haven’t had the chance to hoist a few with him yet.
ITALICS: You start with an "i" in square brackets and end with a "/i" in square brackets. Click the Quote button to look at this message. Your quoted message (Yeah, . . . EVERYTHING BECOMING ITALICISED) won’t appear in the quote. The same goes for bold, underline, and all the other tags. Click each one to insert it into your reply text and then click Preview to see how it is treated.
The tricky one is the URL tag. When you click it it puts url and /url in square brackets. To finish forming the link you put an "=" after the "url" and before the "]" and then insert the link after the "=". You then put some text in between the two tags to give the user something to click on.
Example:
yourDictionary.com is a link to the yDc home page. Again, click the quote button to see how the link is implemented. You can test out the link to make sure it works when you hit Preview.
[hr]
Remember, it’s similar to HTML in that you have an opening and a closing tag, except for the horizontal rule "hr" tag. And for some silly reason, the "hr" tag does not make a rule all the way across the text area, so don’t panic.
