Sir?   No Sir, Ma’am !  Consider it a mere colloquialism.

Whilst I cut capers in my cloak, you may prefer the Dance of the Seven Veils.

Full circle ?

As I’ve said and herewith shall reiterate leave my capers alone, no veil splitting aside. A mere 180 sir, not complete yet.

Logographer - I had to look that up.

It’s someone who can take an epic Greek poem, and turn it into terse.

Given the choice of the dance of the seven veils or a caper with Elvis, which is the lesser of the two evils ?

Doug two items towit:
capers

ca·per 2  (kpr)
n.
1. A usually spiny Mediterranean shrub (Capparis spinosa) having white to pale lilac flowers and dehiscent fruits with reddish pulp.
2. A pickled flower bud of this plant, used as a pungent condiment in sauces, relishes, and various other dishes.

I like my capers uncut, but you are welcome to cut your own capers.
but if it is a caper you want

ca·per 1  (kpr)
n.
1. A playful leap or hop.
2. A frivolous escapade or prank.

Let’s go for it!

Looks like we have successfully created a colloquy here !

Now there are three options:-

Cut Capers

1.  Diced garnish, makes a whimsical meal served with rice - capricious !

2.  Cavort and leap about with irrational exuberance - that worked better when I was younger

3.  Badly shaven colloquials - see the first posting

Any more suggestions Vocifera ?

Now you’ve added goats, I still prefer whole capers, but I’m sure the caped crusader with all his veils(ed) capering doesn’t mind that!

why not just stick to cutting are canes?
