o)k, i’m going to try this again. How does one express the following in SPANISH:  DON’T RAIN ON MY PARADE.

I guess I could translate it as NO LLUEVA EN MI DESFILE but is that an expression that conveys the equivalent sentiment to a native speaker of Spanish?

Thank you/Gracias for your assistance.

I can’t think of an expression, but you could say No me frustres los planes or Déjame hacer lo mío.  Maybe somebody else can help.

Thank you very much.  Yes, I see that those two translations are the equivalent sentiment (No frustres mis planes & Dejeme hacer lo mio).  I guess they’re not uite as colorful as the English. You know, the imagery-RAIN, a PARADE…there’s the mental picture, right?

But I do appreciate your suggestions.
Gracias!

I thought that the English expression "Don’t rain on my parade" was translated as:

"aguar la fiesta a alguien" in Spanish and:
"mettre des bâtons dans les roues de quelqu’un" in French and:
"jemandem in die Suppe spucken" in German.

But I could be wrong?

Yeah, aguarle la fiesta a alguien sounds good.  The rest was pure show-off, right?  ;D

"mettre des bâtons dans les roues de quelqu’un"

Right.  This is what I do everyday. And they hate it. If they see it. Mostly they’re driving too fast to even see me flipping them off. And that sucks.

Guilty as charged! Please forgive me, I’m shameless!
