I have a school career project to do and I want to be a foreign translator. For one of my requirements, I must conduct an interview with someone who works with my future profession. Unfortunately, there isn’t one in my town so I was wondering if anyone has the job of translating foreign languages and has been for at least 3 years. If you can, send me an email to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) ASAP and I will send you my interview questions.
Thanks.

You might try following site: http://www.proz.com/, "the web’s leading directory of translation services, freelance language translators, translation agencies and translation jobs for translators."
This advertisement-lingo not withstanding, it does have an interesting message board full of professional translators and it’s a possible way to contact one of them.

Good luck,

Frank
