Ok, here’s the scoop, I’ve been trying to make a DVD from my boyfriend’s old home movie VHS tapes. So far, I’ve been able to finish the project… twice. The first time I completed it and it gave me problems. So, I recreated the whole thing from scratch. Please note that I had no idea how to use this program when I first got it. I learned as I went. Anyway, I got it done again and it’s giving me the same damn error.
Normally, I wouldn’t do this but it’s kind of an emergency. I’ve been trying to get this done since last month and the only possible solution is in the following text. The only problem is, I can’t fully understand it. I understand many of the words but can’t extract a full solution. Would someone do me a HUGE favor and help me understand exactly what is being said here?

Ciao a Tutti la prima cosa che vi consiglio di fare è passare ad ENcore DVD 1.5.l ovvero l’Adobe ha rilasciato ujna nuova patch per risoilver alcuni problemi del software.
Premerttendo che Encore nell’80% dei casi impazzisce (quante volte mi da UNidentified error) vediamo se posso aiutarvi. Prima cosa evitate di encodare con il software interno di Encore usate altri programmi tipo Canopus procoder (che vi darà il file m2v e se volete anche l’ac3 della parte audio)., Nell’80% edei casi ho visto che quando da L’Unidentified error è perchè se creaimo un menu animato impazsosce nel mettere come menu una traccia video oppure se la traccia video è in 16:9 lui non la capisce. Quindi se vi da questo tipo di problema ed avete fatto un menu animato toglietelo e magari ricreatelo. Un suggerimento man mano che lavorate(e i file video metteteli alla fine (createvi solo le timeline) salvate il progetto e fate un esportazione(non un preview che funziona così così) Se avete Motion Menu fatervi sempre un Render motion menu.
Sperando di essere stato chiaro lascio la mail per magari avere contatti se qualcuno ha avuto problemi con il osftware e per altre cose (ad esempio guida in italiano del software)
