Pubs are chiefly in UK, but one does find them here.
Bars are also pieces of cut cake in long pans.
Taverns are tomato, spice and hamburgers on a bun.

Hamburger is a sandwich consisting of a cooked patty of ground meat placed in an open bun or between two slices of bread.

French fries originated in Belgium so it should be Belgian fries!  LOL

For a few years during the First Persian Gulf War we called them “freedom” fries”, since the French would not join the coalition.
