Also with Spanish, French, Chinese.
Our ticos friend Richard Blank, where is he?

Luck? I don’t know anything about luck. I’ve never banked on it, and I’m afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work—and realizing what is opportunity and what isn’t.

howjsay.com is cool. Though it’ll take time before you hear the word. It’s worth it!

Especially for someone teaching English, gives the student time to catch it.  And you can repeat it, just by clicking.

in vain, I guess, I looked, but no luck.  Maybe others can find one.  Try posting your question elsewhere in another thread.

Trafalgar Square and Times Square, respectively.

Or perhaps not, they’re probably thronged with foreign tourists.

And English pub would fill the bill in Britain, but I cannot say the same for an American Tavern, depends on where you want to get the flavor (not the beer, the language) South Carolina, Boston,
Kansas, Texas, Soutwest, Northwest.
