tough one, at least for me!  :-[
Now, I know I’d fit into a new pair of jeans… at least I hope I would!  :P

But I’m sending a message to International House to see if I still fit in/into their July CELTA course. I’d go for in, but…

Here you mean fit in as in able to be accomodated.

In my imaginary world of make-believe German, they would use a verb such as einfissen... ;D

At any rate, if you wish to be more formal than informal, perhaps you should rephrase your inquiry.

Do you still have an opening in your July CELTA course?
