hey, could anyone find a usage for the adverb manana(means an indefinite time in (near?) future)

i searched every nook and cranny
just couldn’t find it

Actually, the word mañana means “tomorrow” in Spanish. It has been commonly used in English to mean tomorrow, but sometimes people use it loosely to mean “in the future” as opposed to specifically the day after today.

manana is spanish for tomorrow;for “the day after tomorrow” you can say”pasado manana"and for “yesterday” you say “ayer” vampire
and no,douglang,a manana is not an almost ripe banana.its not even pronounced the same LOL

‘Mañana’ means both ‘tomorrow’ and ‘morning’ in Spanish.  So ‘tomorrow morning’ is mañana por la mañana.

It is interesting that ‘Morgen’ has the same dual meaning in German.  And ‘good morrow’ used to be a common greeting in English.

Manama - the downtown district in Bahrain.  To avoid confusion with mañana, we use insh’allah instead.
