I have an assignment due and need help with the following sentence.

How do you think Newspaper reporters would fare if they had to wait for inspiration before writing their copy?

In that sentence should newpaper and reporters have capitals or not?

Also should the word be every day or everyday?

Thank you very much for any help given.

No need for capitals, the terms are generic, not honorific.

Every day has a different meaning to everyday, the first being “each and every day”, the conjoined version meaning commonplace.

How [do you think] Newspaper reporters would fare if they had to wait for inspiration before writing their copy?

Here it turns out to be your diffuse literary style which registers as tedious & prosaic, because any syndicated columnist would always seem vastly more professional:

e.g. “How would Newspaper reporters fare if they had to wait tor inspiration before writing their copy?”

p.s. so why not just try “everyday” when you require this very useful adverb and “every day” for such a pronominal couplet to fulfill your journalistic expectation?
