I am looking for individual lists of parts of speech.

A list of all the adverbs, preferably categorized.
A list of all the verbs, also categorized, i.e., regular, irregular…
A list of all the prepositions.
All the nouns…
And so on…

Would anyone know if there’s a website (or websites) where I could find such lists?

The people best qualified to answer this seem to have abandoned the Agora in 2004.  Try a search on “subjunctive”, and then try and find Garzo again.

Were they gog-smacked, did they migrate to another site, or sadly pass on ?

Tilt your fedora and take a cruise through the archives, Amnurok.  The derisory detritus of Dictionary Doges have some fun, and serious contributors will always command respect.  Those who are left are few, but those who are joining are brightening things up a lot.  Bandito is our didactic savant, the Bowdler sisters ensure that any taint is leached to the ether, and Vocifera pops back from time to time to provoke El Bandito.  Luke contributes a lot, and is devoting his retirement to being increasingly entertaining.

There’s an avatar of similar suaverity running a call centre from Costa Rica, also promoting cheap beers and lobster if you’d care to make a visit.  It’s been a long while since anyone was tastelessly offensive, but some of our “open to interpretation” contributions have disappeared at the whim of the administrators.  A splinter group is advocating discourse on Pakistani dialects, to which we struggle.

There are also a lot of people who read these postings in quiet anonymity.  So stick around.

So stick around.

Ok, I’ll stick around, but only if you promise to use English from now on.
