A series of programs that provide certification of competency in Cisco networking products. Administered throughout the world at authorized Cisco centers, the various certification levels are offered: CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate Small office/home office (SOHO) certification for LANs, WANs and dial-up services in networks of 100 nodes or less. CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification for LANs, WANs and dial-up services in organizations with networks of 100 to 500 nodes. CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Highest level. Applicants select one of several tracks including "routing and switching," "WAN switching," and "SNA/IP Integration." Hands-on lab work is also required.
