(plural Chinese menus)
- (literally) A menu for the selections available at a restaurant serving Chinese food.
- A set of choices from which the user or customer makes multiple selections, specifically one or more choice from each of two or more distinct categories.
- Each camper picked from a Chinese menu of available activities: one from the various field sports; one from the pool activities list; and two from a wide selection of arts and crafts classes.
The origin of the second sense is from the practice of some Chinese restaurants which — for a fixed price — instruct the customer to make selections such as "one from Column A, two from Column B, one from Column C", where the columns may contain, for example, a selection of soups, appetizers, and entrees.
