CDE.INI - Computer Definition
The initialization file for the Windows version of Computer Desktop Encyclopedia. CDE.INI contains user preferences including screen position, fonts, colors, bookmarks and history. It also contains the paths to the picture directories and CDETEXT.TXT file, which is used to accumulate multiple entries for printing. CDE.INI is created by CDE.EXE or CDEweb.exe the first time it is run. It is stored in the program folder, or in the Windows folder if CDE is run from a server.
