catch-all mailbox - Computer Definition
A mailbox that can be assigned to incoming e-mail messages that have invalid or non-configured recipient names. A catch-all mailbox allows new e-mail addresses to be published without setting up specific e-mail accounts. For example, as long as sales and feedback were not e-mail accounts, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org would be directed automatically to the catch-all mailbox. See mailbox.
