supplemental wages

Wages paid by an employer that are not paid at a regular hourly rate or in a predetermined fixed amount. Supplemental wages include bonuses, commissions, sick pay, noncash fringe benefits, and other irregular payments. An employer may choose to report tips and overtime pay as either regular wages or supplemental wages.
