Verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when submission or rejection affects an individual's employment or work performance, or when such conduct creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission expects employers to communicate to employees that sexual harassment will not be tolerated.
