response bias definition - business
response bias
The influence on the answer a respondent gives of what he or she believes the questioner wants to hear. In some cases a question may be poorly worded, so as to favor a particular response. For example: “With the recent increases in the cost of living, are you satisfied with the candidate's proposal to raise taxes?"
