original equipment manufacturer (OEM) definition - business
original equipment manufacturer (OEM)
A business that manufactures parts or components that are used in products assembled or produced by another company. For example, Delphi is an OEM that supplies navigation and audio systems, instrument panels, steering systems, and a variety of other products to the automotive industry.
