net realized value

net realized value definition - business

net realized value

The amount that will be recognized from the sale of an asset less any expenses incurred from the sale. For example, a business owns a vehicle that could be sold for $22,000 after spending $1,500 on minor repairs, painting, and a sales commission. The vehicle's net realized value is $22,000 less $1,500, or $20,500.
