Medicare

A government-administered health care program for people 65 years of age and over, some disabled people under age 65, and people with kidney failure. Medicare includes Part A (generally without charge), which provides coverage for inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facilities, hospice care, and some home health care. Medicare Part B requires a monthly premium and provides coverage for doctors' services, outpatient hospital care, and certain medical services not included in Part A.
