Someone trained in offering counsel in financial investments, including stocks, bonds, and insurance. Some financial advisers serve as financial planners and offer advice on a wide range of financial issues, including retirement and taxes. Other financial advisers have a more narrow interest and concentrate on particular types of investments, such as securities, insurance, or real estate.
