European currency quotation definition - business
European currency quotation
In foreign exchange trading, the value of a dollar in terms of a foreign currency. For example, if the euro is worth $1.25, the European currency quotation would be expressed as 0.80, meaning that there are 0.80 euros to the dollar. Also called divider. Compare American currency quotation.
