differential advantage
- A unique quality of a good or service that gives it an advantage over competitors.
- The benefit enjoyed by a company or production facility as a result of the economic environment in which it operates. For example, a manufacturing plant enjoys a differential advantage because of a high education level and work ethic of the local population.
